• You may wash your face gently. Wait 4 hours to apply or make-up products.
• If you feel a thickening at the injection site in the days after treatment, you can massage it for a few days, a few times a day for a few minutes according to your doctor’s instructions, especially do not do this any longer as there is a chance that swelling and redness will occur!
• If you have had your lips treated, do not kiss or drink hot or cold beverages for the first 24 hours after the treatment.
• Blue spots can be treated with Arnica cream.

There is always a risk of you not liking the results. Perhaps you feel like a filler treatment might have been unsuitable for your face. In this case, you can either wait until the product is dissolved and broken down by your body naturally, or the filler can be dissolved by using Hyalase®.

Hyalase® is a filler that contains hyaluronidase, which is a solution that is used to break down the hyaluronic acid in the filler substance. It starts to work immediately after being injected in the desired area. The end result may take up to two weeks. Depending on the treated area, several Hyalase® treatments might be needed, as in some cases the Hyalase® cannot dissolve the entire filler in the area at once.

• Hyaluronic acid is a natural product that also occurs in normal skin and it is completely biodegradable. The risk of allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid is very small because it does not contain animal proteins. There is always a small risk of more than average swelling and bruising, but these often disappear within one to two weeks.
• Usually, the treated skin is slightly swollen and red for a few hours after the treatment. These reactions are always mild and disappear spontaneously. To keep swelling to a minimum, the treated area can be cooled with cold compresses. To further reduce swelling, we recommend that you do not bend over too much during the first 2 days after the injections and keep your head upright as much as possible. During the night, you may simply rest your head on a pillow.
• A bruise (bruising) can sometimes appear in thin skin for a few days, which you can camouflage with make-up.
• If this does not help enough or if the pain increases, it is best to contact the clinic.

Please note that filler treatments are not performed on pregnant or breastfeeding women.
